To prevent ink from leaking from an ink head.SOLUTION: In an ink supply system 30, an ink tank 31 is connected to an ink head 32 through an ink flow path 36, and in the ink flow path 36 are provided a damper 35 having a storage chamber 42, a valve 38 and a pump 39 that can be opened and closed. A control device 60 comprises: an opening control part 66 that opens the valve 38 before processing related to consumption of ink in the ink tank 31 is started; a stand-by part 68 that stands by for a prescribed time after the valve 38 is opened; a determining control part 70 that detects detection pressure of the storage chamber 42 after standing by for the prescribed time, and then determines whether or not the detection pressure is equal to or less than predetermined determination pressure; and process starting part 72 that starts the processing related to consumption of ink in the ink tank 31 when it is determined that the determining control part 70 determines that the detection pressure is equal to or less than the determination pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
