To provide a computer readable recording medium having recorded thereon a method, a system, and a program of communication for efficiently controlling the functions of the functional part of individual apparatuses in a network where a plurality of apparatuses including the functional parts having a plurality of functions and communication parts having a communication function communicate with one another.
A communication control unit 38 stores a plurality of pieces of function information associated with more than one function which a corresponding function performing part 39 possesses in a storage medium in advance, and inquires the function information of each of other apparatuses when communication is performed. Therefore, processing for correlating, for management, each apparatus to the function information the same has becomes unnecessary, the load of processing including communication are reduced, and it becomes possible to control the functions of each of the apparatuses efficiently.
