The managing computer receives instruction waiting information for requesting the transmission of instruction information as a request for a POST method (hereinafter called "first request") from the managed computer, transmits the instruction information for instruction to transmit a specified monitoring item as a response of the POST method for the first request to the managed computer, and receives the monitoring information including the specified monitoring item as a request for the POST method (hereinafter called "second request") from the managed computer.
