Abstract:

To provide a computer system operating a gesture recognition function only when necessary.

This invention relates to a system recognizing gesture performed by a moving object. This system is provided with a voice detection part for detecting voice, one or a plurality of image sensors for capturing images of the moving object, a human being recognition part for recognizing a human being from images captured by the image sensors, and a gesture recognition part operating when human voice is distinguished in the voice detection part to recognize human gesture.
