Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a high-speed data transfer between a server module and a storage module.SOLUTION: A computer system includes a server module, a storage module, and a transfer module. The server module has a first connection line for connecting a first processor, a first memory, and a first interface. The storage module has a second connection line for connecting a controller including a second processor and a second memory, a storage device, and a second interface. The transfer module is connected to the first connection line and second connection line. When receiving a data transfer request, the transfer module refers to a first transfer list on the first memory and a second transfer list on the second memory, obtaining data to be transferred; and refers to the first transfer list and the second transfer list, transferring the data to be transferred to the first memory or the second memory.
