Abstract:
To achieve 1: N biometric authentication which is difficult to spoof at high speed.SOLUTION: A biometric authentication system determines a first template different from a second registration feature amount from a first registration feature amount on the basis of a first verification method, determines a second template from the second registration feature amount on the basis of a second verification method, associates and holds the first template and the second template, searches for the first template on the basis of the first verification method, identifies the first template corresponding to the search data, identifies the second template corresponding to the identified first template, generates an authentication token from the second authentication feature amount on the basis of the second verification method, executes authentication success/failure determination of an authentication target person on the basis of the second verification, the identified second template, and the authentication token, and a first template verification process is faster than the combination of the authentication token generation and the authentication success/failure determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
