In this computer system in which plural processors are connected to the same bus, the changeover unit 111 controls the operations of a branching unit 112 and a comparison unit 113 and switches the operation of the computer system to the multiprocessor system or the master/slave processor system. The branching unit 112 classifies the processing results of the respective processors for the respective processors in the case that the computer system performs the operation of the master/slave processor system. The comparison unit 113 compares the processing results of the respective processors in the case that the computer system performs the operation of the master/slave processor system.
