Abstract:
To reduce power consumption in a cluster system provided with computers having different performances.
In a highly-available cluster system of an N-to-M configuration comprising a cluster management computer 101, N active system computers 102 and M standby system computers 103, the cluster management computer 101 predicts the power consumption of the respective computers on the basis of the primary function of CPU utilization, and executes migration to the standby system computer of the power consumption smaller than that of the active system computer before the migration.
