Title:
CONCENTRATION ANALYSIS METHOD FOR PLURALITY OF COMPONENTS CONTAINED IN SOLUTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3223097
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accurate concentrations of components contained in a solution by analyzing the concentrations using air or gas having the same components of bubbles as a reference material.
SOLUTION: A cell 1 having gas sealed is provided in an optical path between a spectral means 3 and a detector 4, a monochromatic light from a light source 2 is separated into its spectral components by this means 3 and scanned by the light of wavelength λ, and the cell transmitted light then is received by the detector 4 so that the reference spectrum I is obtained. A solution (S) is poured into the cell 1 and a sample spectrum I is obtained in the same way. Secondly, an absorbance spectrum (A) is found using the both spectra and its data are processed so as to provide concentrations responding to the solvent and the components respectively. When bubbles are contained in the solution (S), a sample spectrum (I) becomes a smaller value than a case without containing the bubbles so that the total concentration (T) becomes less than 100%. Therefore, when (T) is some value or more, it is judged that the bubbles are not contained and, when it is less than that, it is judged that they are contained.
