Abstract:

To provide a concentration measuring device, capable of accurately measuring the concentration of a measured object from a small quantity of liquid samples.

The concentration measuring device for measuring salinity concentration in the liquid supplies alternating voltage of a predetermined level between a first electrode 8 inserted into the liquid and a second electrode 7, disposed around the first electrode 8, sets the second electrode 7 and a guard electrode 11a disposed around the second electrode 7 to be equipotential, measures the current flowing between the first electrode 8 and the second electrode 7, and determines the electrical conductivity of the liquid based on the measured current and the alternating voltage of the predetermined level. The salinity concentration is calculated from the electrical conductivity.
