Abstract:
To provide a system capable of operating for a long time that can suppress, in concentration of solvent-containing substance using forward osmosis, migration of an osmosis substance in an osmosis substance flow into a supply flow via a forward osmosis membrane and can recover a concentrate of high purity.SOLUTION: A concentration system of a solvent-containing substance having a first step characterized in that a supply flow a comprising a solvent-containing substance containing solute and solvent b is counter current flowed or parallel flowed through the osmosis substance flow d and the forward osmosis membrane o, and the solvent b contained in the supply flow a is transferred to the forward osmosis substance flow d through the forward osmosis membrane o, to obtain a concentrated substance flow c made of a concentrated solvent-containing substance, and a flow e made of the diluted osmosis substance flow d, the osmosis substance flow d is an inorganic salt solution containing polyvalent cation, and the temperature of the osmosis substance flow d in the first step is 5 to 60°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
