Title:
FASTENING STRUCTURE FOR MUTUAL DISSIMILAR METAL MEMBERS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016070359
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening structure for mutual dissimilar electrodeposition coated metal members capable of eliminating some disadvantages caused by potential difference corrosion and poor chemical conversion treatment accompanied by formation of a local cell without applying any insulation process.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fastening structure 10 with a metal bolt 60 and a metal nut 65 that are electrodeposition coated mutual dissimilar metal members (a fender 20 and an upper frame 40). The metal bolt 60 is made of the same metal material as that of the upper frame 40. The fender 20 has some protruded surfaces 28 spaced apart by a prescribed distance at a circumference 24 of an insertion hole 22 and a general surface 26 held by the protruded surfaces 28 in an alternative manner and fastening of the mutual dissimilar metal members is carried out by abutting a seat surfaces 62a of the metal bolt 60 against the protruded surfaces 28. With this arrangement, the protruded surfaces 28 producing poor chemical conversion are separated from watery environment and the general surface 26 is processed with superior electrodeposition coating and some disadvantages caused by potential difference corrosion and poor chemical conversion treatment accompanied by formation of a local cell are eliminated without applying any insulation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
