Abstract:
To provide an upwelling flow block that can be bottomed at a target position with high accuracy, and can construct a mound reef by a less casting number, thereby capable of reducing construction cost.SOLUTION: An upwelling flow block is rectangular in a basic shape, and has a horizontal top end surface 11, a horizontal bottom surface 12, and four vertical sides 13. Also, the upwelling flow block has a cut-out groove 14 with corners being cut out and formed to be gouged to an inside in four corners. A ratio (b/a) of an overall depth (b) to a width dimension (a) is set to a range of 0.5-0.8, and a ratio (h/a) of a height dimension (h) to the width dimension (a) is set to a range of 1.0-1.5. Also, a ratio of the dimension of the cut-out groove 14 to the width dimension (a) is set to a range of 0.1-0.3, and a ratio of the depth dimension of the cut-out groove 14 to the width dimension (a) is set to a range of 0.03-0.15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
