Abstract:
To provide a method enabling deterioration of concrete due to sulfuric acid to be early evaluated.SOLUTION: A deterioration test method comprises: immersing a test piece having the same concrete composition as a target concrete structure in a sulfuric acid solution until corrosion occurs on the surface of the test piece; then exposing the immersed test piece to the same environment as an environment to which the concrete structure is exposed. It is also preferable to use the sulfuric acid solution having a sulfuric acid concentration of 0.5 mass% or more. It is further preferable to use sulfuric acid-resistant concrete as the test piece. It is moreover preferred that the concrete structure is a sewage treatment facility or spa facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
