Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify construction by forming a protecting block for the face of slope or the like into box shape with a surface plate with numerous openings and a back plate forming a lid, and filling soil, containing vegetable seeds, fertilizer, and the like, previously into the inside of the block.
CONSTITUTION: The surface plate of a hollow precast concrete block is provided with a large number of holes 6 bored at the specified numerical aperture, and a mesh net and mesh reinforcement 7 are embedded therein so as to prevent the outflow of packing in addition to reinforcing the block. Vegetation soil 5 with vegetable seeds 8, fertilizer, and the like mixed therein is filled inside the surface plate and closed by a back plate 3 to form a slope protecting block 1. This block 1 is laid being connected to the face of slope or the like to form a retaining wall block, thus enabling retaining wall work and planting work to be performed at the same time. Construction cost can be thereby reduced.
