Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a cutting oil, etc. from penetrating into a concrete structure to impede the progress of dryness and contraction of the concrete structure, by covering the outer surface of the concrete structure with an epoxy resin group paint layer.

CONSTITUTION: Upon surface treatment of a concrete structure the surface is coated with an epoxy resin group paint such as, for example, "Brinine" by three times, that is, undercoating, intermediate coating and top-coating, after it is subjected to a grounding treatment with the use of an epoxy resin group putty. With this arrangement, water-insoluble or water-soluble oil is prevented from penetrating into the concrete structure, and as well there are no progress of dryness and contraction, and no reduction in weight.
