Abstract:

To provide an apparatus and a method for regeneration of concrete waste which require no heating, are based on a dry system and enable acquisition of original aggregates as they are.

A concrete waste regeneration apparatus has crushing mechanism 400 which has a rotating section having two or more blades fixed radially and crest-type fixed impact elements arranged around the rotating section, a grinding mechanism 700 having a cylindrical shell rotating in one direction and a rotor which is arranged eccentrically within the shell and rotates in the direction opposite to that of the shell, and a sorting mechanism 900 having a blower producing wind force to sort fine powder. The crushing mechanism 400 crushes concrete waste to grain sizes equal to or smaller than predetermined values under impact action and peels cement on the surfaces of aggregates. The grinding mechanism 700 peels cement on the surfaces of aggregates further under mutual grinding action between fragments of concrete waste and adjusting grain sizes of aggregates. The sorting mechanism 900 sorts the resultant product into coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, cement and fine powder.
