PURPOSE: To obtain new compounds having coagulation-inhibiting action.
CONSTITUTION: Compounds of formula I [R1 is H, F, Cl, an alkyl or the like; X is O, S, N or the like; Y is NO, N or the like; Z1-Z4 are each methylene, C, imino or the like, one or more of Z1-Z4 should contain C, Z5 and Z6 are each C, or one of them is N and the other is C; A is cyano, amino or the like; B is phenylene (optionally substd. with F, alkyl or the like) or the like; C is a bond, alkylene or the like; D is a bond or alkylene; E is a 1-7C alkylene or the like; F is a bond, 1-6C alkylene or the like; G is carbonyl not bonded to a hetero atom of E or the like], their tautomers, their stereoisomers and their mixing compounds and their salts, such as 2-(4-amidino-phenyl)-5-(2-carboxy- ethyl)-amino-carbonyl]-1-methyl-benzoimidazole. The compd. of the formula I is obtained, for example, by hydrolyzing a compd. of formula II (G1 is bonded to C) in the presence of an acid such as hydrochloric acid in a solvent such as water and methanol at a temp. of -10 to 120°C.
