Abstract:
To provide a compound having absorption characteristics to light of a specific wavelength and excellent heat and light resistance, that is able to emit fluorescence of high intensity and can be rather easily synthesized.
The condensed polycyclic phenazine compound is represented by formula (I): wherein R1 indicates a hydrogen atom group or the like; R2 indicates a 4-aminophenyl derivative group or the like; R3 forms a -O- group or the like by combining with other substituents; R4 and R5 each form a phenyl group or the like by combining with an adjacent carbon atom; R6 indicates a 4-aminophenyl derivative group or the like; and R7 indicates a -O- group or the like by combining with other substituents.
