PURPOSE: To stabilize ignition characteristics on the self-start and kick start of a condenser charge/discharge type igniter.

CONSTITUTION: A misfire circuit 3 for controlling the gate signal of an ignition circuit 2 is installed. The misfire circuit 3 is equipped with a condenser charge/ discharge circuit which performs electric charge in sending out timing pulse and discharge after the stop of sending, and a switch element which detects the output level of the electric charge/discharge circuit and turns ON/OFF the gate of a thyristor. Further, a starting-motor starting revolution speed setting circuit 4 for varying the output level in the starting operation of the starting- motor is provided.
