Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of information exchanged between an automatic pari-mutuel ticket vender and a center computer in false voting by an automatic ticket vender in a race course etc. by enabling to prepare an entry list omitting totalization of voting of the center computer. CONSTITUTION:From a voting device 7 of an automatic ticket vender 6, m-n group number of race is falsely voted to a computer 2 without giving the number of votes. The computer 2 replies that selling is impossible as there is the number of group but the number of votes is not given, and does not totalize the number of votes. The vender 6 recognizes that the number of votes is not given in a recognizing circuit 10, and confirm the presence of group number of (m-n) in a confirming circuit 9, and stores the possibility of selling that group number in a memory 8. This procedure is repeated for each group number, and if the group number does not exist, the computer 2 replies that selling is impossible. The vender 2 recognizes that the group number does not exist and the number of votes is not given in the circuit 10. This fact is confirmed by the circuit 9 and the impossibility of selling is stored in the memory 8.
