Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state monitoring device capable of monitoring a state of components around an axle box efficiently with a simpler structure.SOLUTION: A state monitoring device 60 monitors a state of components around an axle box mounted on a carriage 1 of a railway vehicle 2. This state monitoring device 60 includes a vibration excitation member 61 disposed in a track 3 and a detection sensor 62 provided on an end part of a carriage frame 10. A response waveform of the carriage 1 vibrated by the vibration excitation member 61 is detected by the detection sensor 62 and the state of the components around the axle box is monitored based on a detected value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
