Title:
CONDITIONAL REACTION MEMBER AND ITS FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3172560
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable moving from the original plate shape to reversed plate shape by using a thermostat metal material causing a snap effect at a specific temperature on receiving thermal expansion difference in temperature change.
CONSTITUTION: A member 10 consists of a thermostat metal material 12. That is, a first metal layer means 12.1 made of a material having a relatively high thermal expansion coefficient is placed on the projection surface side 10.1 of the member 10 and is metallurgically combined along the boundary 12.2 with a second metal device 12.3 made of a material having a relatively low thermal expansion coefficient which is placed on the projection surface side 10.2. A series of each artificial matter 16 provided inside produces a local stress pattern 18 in the member 10. According to the experience of different thermal expansion by the devices 12.1 and 12.3, the stress pattern 18 is modified. When the degree of the modification becomes sufficient, the member 10 moves via the overcenter position 10b to a reversed plate shape at the specific temperature accompanied by a snap effect.
