Abstract:

To provide a conductive belt having excellent secondary transfer property for a recording material having high surface roughness and capable of transferring a clear image even in a recessed portion.

The conductive belt has at least three layers successively layered, from the inner peripheral surface to the outer peripheral surface, of a base layer, an elastic layer and a surface layer. The hardness of the belt measured on the surface side in the layered state is ≤60 hardness by an IRHD (international rubber hardness degree) micro hardness test method. The base layer has 50 to 150 μm thickness, ≥2,000 MPa tensile elastic modulus, and 106 Ω/unit square to 1011 Ω/unit square surface electric resistivity in the inner peripheral surface side; the elastic layer has 400 to 1,500 μm thickness, ≤60 JISA hardness, and 106 Ω cm to 108 Ω cm volume resistivity; and the surface layer has 3 to 30 μm thickness and ≤250 MPa complex elastic modulus.
