PURPOSE: The titled composition which allows excellent dispersion of conductive powders, gives excellent conductivity even with a thin coating film, and is capable of forming a coating film having excellent durability, containing a resin binder composed mainly of a specified graft polymer, conductive powders, and a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive composition containing a resin binder composed mainly of a graft polymer of an acrylic resin onto a maleinized polyisoprene, conductive powders (e.g., nickel powders), and a solvent (e.g., toluene or methyl ethyl ketone). This composition allows excellent dispersion of conductive powders; gives excellent conductivity even with a thin coating film; and is capable of forming a coating film which has excellent durability, maintaining conductivity even on exposure to high temperatures or after repeated cooling and heating for a long time; therefore it can be used in many fields of application including electromagnetic wave shielding.
