Title:
CONDUCTIVE COLOR-CONDITIONED AUTOMOBILE PRIMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2582238
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-layer primer for electrostatic coating of plastic products by applying a non-conductive colored primer coating material on a substrate, thereon, applying a conductive primer coating material in a sufficient amount for providing a dry film of a prescribed thickness and baking the coated primers.
SOLUTION: The non-conductive colored primer coating material which is composed of a non-conductive pigment and a polyester, or the like, is applied on a substrate and the substrate is concealed. Subsequently, the conductive primer coating material of the sufficient amount for providing the dry film thickness of 7.6 to 10 μm is applied on the non-conductive colored primer coating material. As the conductive primer coating material, for example, those including a white or a colored conductive pigment such as Sb-doped tin oxide on mica substrate are used. Therein, the non-conductive coating material is made to keep moisture at the time of applying the conductive coating material.
