A conductive composition containing (A) a conductive polymer, (B) at least one of basic compounds selected from a group consisting following compounds (B-1) to (B-4) and a conductor using the conductive composition are provided. Compound (B-1): an alkali metal hydroxide and/or an alkaline earth metal hydroxide. Compound (B-2): at least one compounds selected from a group consisting of acetate, carbonate, phosphate or halide of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal. Compound (B-3): a compound having a basic group and a hydroxy group in the same molecule. Compound (B-4): a compound containing at least respectively one kind of an acidic group and a basic group in the same molecule.
