Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive cooling type superconducting magnet device and assembly method for it, where assembly of a radiation shield outer tube 4 is easy ensuring its roundness and strength, and construction and adjustment are simple while a manufacturing cost is reduced for improved reliability.
SOLUTION: Without making radiation shield outer tube 4 halved, notice is made that assembling of the radiation shield outer tube 4 is enabled in the axial direction of a superconducting coil 6 so as to cover a bore formation inner tube such as a lateral bore formation inner tube 8 or vertical bore formation inner tube 7. Here, the bore formation inner tubes 7 and 8, which are positioned inside a radiation shield inner tube 5 and the radiation shield outer tube 4 to form a cross bore 25, the superconducting coil 6, and a refrigerator 3, are provided with the length L of the bore formation inner tube 8 which is orthogonal to the coil axis of the superconducting coil 6 being made shorter than a diameter D of the radiation shield outer tube 4.
