Abstract:
To provide a conductive roller capable of reducing equipment cost for production, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the conductive roller.
In the conductive roller 1, one or more elastic layers 3 formed from silicone rubber or urethane rubber containing a conductive agent is disposed on the radial outside of a shaft member 2 composed of a hollow cylinder or solid cylinder made of a resin containing a conductive agent. The elastic layers 3 are formed by dipping the shaft member 2 into paint composed of a silicone rubber material or urethane rubber material containing a conductive agent.
