Abstract:

To provide a conductor for an electric wire that has high-strength and high electric conductivity and thus enables to reduce the diameter and weight, and to be used in an ultrafine electric wire.

The conductor for electric wires includes an alloy in which a plurality of secondary phases made of a metal crystal is dispersed in a mother phase consisting of copper, and the metal crystal is formed in a needle shape, and oriented in a longitudinal direction of the conductor for the electric wire.
