Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cause a conductor to be suitable for fusing sealing in a glass vessel, and cause excellent welding of mutual alloys by containing lanthanoide oxide of specified ratio in molybdenum alloy used for a conductor fusing sealed in the glass vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A molybdenum alloy used for a conductor fusing sealed in the glass vessel of a bulb, an electronic tube, and similar components is formed of one or plural lanthanoide oxides of 0.01 to 5 percentage by weight and molybdenum beside normal impurity. It is desirable that the rate of the oxide is in a range of 0.1 to 1 percentage by weight. It is also desirable that the oxide is lanthanum oxide. Thereby, it is possible to obtain the conductor which is suitable for fusing sealing in the glass vessel, and can be excellently welded with the alloys mutually, or with pure molybdenum, or with other molybdenum alloys.
