Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute and adjust the transfer of a telephone call and the transfer of information based on another host processor related with the call by constituting one pair of host data structures so that an extension can be connected with a specific display terminal connected with a host application and a specific CICS application. CONSTITUTION: Whether or not a user presses a function key indicating that sharing is requested is judged. The user is requested to input an extension for identifying a caller related with a telephone call whose access is requested. Next, the entry of the user is formatted by a CICS, and tramsmitted to a host for a processing. The host receives this CICS transaction, and moves the transaction of a display terminal related with the extension to the transaction of the user. A CBX connects the user with an extension through which a conference is already being progressed by using a standard call conference. A call management control table is updated for indicating a new situation.
