This conference support equipment is provided with plural speech input parts for converting speech information of each speaker attending the conference to an audio signal and inputs it, a speaker discriminating part for discriminating the audio signal of each speaker and adding a speaker code to the audio signal, an audio signal storage part for storing the audio signal of each speaker corresponding to the speaker code, an audio signal converting part for converting the stored audio signal to character data, a forming part of the record of the proceedings for forming the record of the converted character data on the basis of the speaker code and prescribed sequence, a record storing part for storing the record, a display part for displaying the record on an image plane with real time, and a communication part for connecting a prescribed external terminal unit via a communication circuit. In response to the request from the external terminal unit, the communication part transmits the record of the proceedings or its speech information.
