Title:
CONFOCAL MICROSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3670839
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confocal microscope capable of eliminating the irregular scanning of a disk and obtaining an image pickup plane where light and dark stripes are avoided.
SOLUTION: While rotating a pinhole disk 21 having plural pin-holes, the confocal image of a sample surface through the pinhole is picked up by a CCD camera 26, and a vertical synchronizing signal is extracted from the video signal of the camera 26 by a vertical synchronizing signal extraction circuit 27. Then, the rotating state of the disk 21 is detected by a photodetecting element 24 and a motor 22 for driving the disk 21 is controlled while the phase of the vertical synchronizing signal of the circuit 27 and the phase of the detection signal of the element 24 are synchronized each other by a phase synchronizing circuit 25.
