Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009206568
Kind Code:

Abstract:

To improve immunity to a service interference attack to an SSL/TLS protocol without causing any change in a client side when mutual authentication is executed in conformity with the SSL/TLS protocol.

In performing mutual authentication in conformity with the SSL/TLS protocol, a server executes key acquiring processing (RSA deciphering after receiving Client Key Exchange, DH discrete logarithm operation or the like) after successfully executing signature verification processing (Certificate Verify). Further, the sever may reuse the data acquired in initializing processing of server session before a certain session succeeds in signature verification.
