Abstract:
To prevent an increase in slippage between a ring and a friction wheel resulting from a local rise of oil temperature due to insufficient stirring in an oil reservoir.
Large diameter sides of both an input side friction wheel 22 and an output side friction wheel 23 are immersed in an oil reservoir 50. Portions 22A, 23A of the both friction wheels immersed in the oil reservoir 50 are apart from each other (by a predetermined distance p) in an axial direction and rotate in opposite directions I', J' to each other, thereby generating a circulating flow K in one direction in the oil reservoir 50 as a whole.
