Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that a column part is scratched when caulking the column part of a cage of a conical roller bearing.SOLUTION: A conical roller bearing assembling device 1 has a pedestal 10, and a caulking jig 30. The pedestal has a penetration hole whose hole internal peripheral face 16 (internal peripheral face) is formed into a tapered shape. The calking jig has a reciprocation moving shaft 40 which moves along a hole center axis P (center axis), and a plurality of turning arms 50 which can turn with respect to opposing ends 44 of the reciprocation moving shaft. Each of the turning arms has a small-diameter end face support part 60 which supports a small-diameter end face 112 of an inner ring 110, a large-diameter annular part support part 70 which supports a cage large-diameter end face 126 of a cage 120, and a caulking face 80 which contacts with an external peripheral face 128a of a column part 128 of the cage. When the caulking jig is made to penetrate the penetration hole from a side of a connecting end, a slide face 54a (radial outside part) of each turning arm contacts with the hole internal peripheral face, the turning arm moves to the inside of a radial direction, and the column part of the cage is caulked toward the inside of the radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
