PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conical roller bearing facilitating assembling.SOLUTION: A conical roller bearing 1 is equipped with an inner ring 3 which has a small collar portion 5 and a large collar portion 6; an outer ring 2 provided on the outside in a diametrical direction of the inner ring 3; a plurality of conical rollers 4 provided between the inner ring 3 and the outer ring 2; and an annular holder 10. The holder 10 has a small-diameter annular portion 11 on one side in an axial direction, a large-diameter annular portion 12 on the other side in the axial direction, and a plurality of column portions 13. Spaces formed between the column portions 13 adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction between the large-diameter annular portion 11 and the small-diameter annular portion 12 become a pocket 14 holding the conical roller 4. Furthermore, the holder 10 has a roller stop portion 15 preventing the conical roller 4 stored in the pocket 14 from coming off to the outside in the diametrical direction. The small-diameter annular portion 11 is provided with a recessed portion 17 for lowering the stiffness of the small-diameter annular portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
