Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new conjugate useful for therapy of cancer or other tumors or the like formed by bonding a specific difunctional N-substituted hydrazine compound with a molecule including a free carbonyl group and a molecule including a sulfhydryl group.
SOLUTION: This conjugate is formed by bonding a difunctional N-substituted hydrazine compound of the formula; H2NNHCONH(CH2)nSSR8, H2 NNHCONHNHCONH(CH2)nSSR8, H2NNHCSNH(CH2)m CH=CH(CH2)nSSR8 or the like (m, n are each an integer of 1 to 10; R8 is a group of formula 1 or formula II; X is H, NO2 or the like), {for example; N-[2-[(2-pyridinyl) dithio]ethyl]hydrazinecarboxamide or the like}, with one or more molecule including free carbonyl group (preferably, anthracycline such as adriamycin or the like) and one or more molecule including sulfhydryl group (preferably, a thiolated monoclonal antibody 5E9 or the like).
