Title:
CONJUGATE POLYESTER YARN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3446875
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugate polyester yarn to be made into a material for nonwoven fabric having high elongation recovery.
SOLUTION: This polyester yarn has an eccentric sheath-core crosssectional shape constituted of a polyester A as a core component comprising a basic repeating unit of a polyester obtained by subjecting an acid component composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid containing one or two benzene rings as a main component and a glycol component having an odd number of 3-9 of (n) of methylene groups of the formula -(CH2)n- to polycondensation and a polyester as a sheath component comprising a basic repeating unit of a polyester obtained by subjecting an acid component composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid containing one or two benzene rings as a main component and a glycol component having an even number of 2-8 of (n) of methylene groups of the formula -(CH2)n- to polycondensation. In this case, the weight ratio of the core part to the sheath part is 40:60 to 70:30.
