Abstract:
To provide a conjugated diene polymer capable of providing lower rolling resistance, excellent wet skid and, in addition, excellent abrasion resistance and processability by compounding it with a reinforcing inorganic filler such as silica, etc., and a method for producing the same.
The method for producing the conjugated diene polymer is characterized by homopolymerizing a conjugated diene monomer or copolymerizing it with an aromatic vinyl monomer in a aqueous medium in the presence of a mercaptosilane compound, and the conjugated diene polymer obtained by the process are provided.
