Title:
CONJUGATED DIOLEFIN COPOLYMER RUBBER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE COPOLYMER RUBBER, RUBBER COMPOSITION, AND TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004067987
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a conjugated diolefin copolymer rubber having excellent processability, regardless of kinds and combination of fillers to be mixed thereinto, having excellently balanced wet skidding characteristics, low hysteresis loss properties, abrasion resistance, and disruptive strength, when subjected to vulcanization treatment and formed into a vulcanized rubber, and useful as a tread material for a fuel-efficient tire, a large-sized tire, and a high-performance tire.

This conjugated diolefin copolymer rubber comprises a copolymer rubber of a conjugated diolefin and an aromatic vinyl compound, wherein (1) the rubber has primary amino groups and alkoxysilyl groups bonded to a chain of the copolymer, (2) polymerization units of the aromatic vinyl compound are contained in an amount of 5-60 wt% based on the copolymer rubber, and further (3) the polymerization units of the aromatic vinyl compound are so composed that single chains formed out of one aromatic vinyl compound unit are contained in an amount of <40 wt% based on the total polymerized aromatic vinyl compound units and long chains formed out of 8 or more aromatic vinyl compound units bonding to each other are contained in an amount of ≤10 wt% based on the total polymerized aromatic vinyl compound units.
