Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel composition comprising a conjugated linoleic acid.SOLUTION: A novel composition comprising a conjugated linoleic acid is effective as a feed additive for animals and as a nutritional supplementary food for humans. A linoleic acid is converted to a conjugate form thereof. In this conjugate form, a specific abnormal isomer of a generated composition is reduced, compared with conventional conjugated linoleic products. In addition, the present invention provides a composition which is prepared according to a novel method controlling CLA oxidation to a volatile organic compound and which comprises a metal oxidizer chelating agent for controlling oxidation during storage.
