Abstract:
To provide a conjugated polymer which is excellent in film-forming properties and also excellent in the light absorption characteristics in a region of long wavelengths and which is capable of achieving a high open voltage value between this polymer and fullerenes; and an organic thin film solar cell provided with the photoelectric conversion layer using this conjugated polymer.
The conjugated polymer comprises a repeating unit expressed by formula (1) and a repeating unit expressed by formula (2). In formula (1), R is a hydrogen atom or a univalent organic group. In formula (2), X is a divalent conjugated linkage group which is different from the repeating unit expressed by formula (1).
