Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to connect unit coolers sequentially so that they have capacities suitable for the size of a refrigerator.
CONSTITUTION: The title cooler is constructed by locating a water spraying tank 2, a filler 5, a lower water tank 6, a blower 8, etc., in a main body 1. Cold water sprayed from the water spraying tank 2 and air in a refrigerator sucked by the blower 8 are made to exchange heat by direct contact with each other inside the filler 5 and the cooled air is let out again into the refrigerator, while the water warmed by the heat exchange is collected in the lower water tank 6. A water spraying pipe 4 for conducting the cold water is provided in the water spraying tank 2 and slit holes 61 are formed in the opposite ends of the water spraying tank 2. A cover plate 62 is provided removably for each of these slit holes 61 and a cover plate is fitted removably to one end of the water spraying pipe 4, while a socket for connection of a piping is fitted removably to the other end of this pipe. Moreover, this unit 1 is so designed that it can be abutted on and joined with another.
