The eye end 10 to be fixed to an end part of the control cable 40 comprises a bearing member 36 of metal, and a damper member 38 fixed around the bearing member 36. A tip 24 of the bearing member 36 is protruded from a tip of the damper member 38, so that the tip 24 is inserted into a through hole 19 in a washer 28. The tip 24 of the bearing member 36 as inserted into the through hole 29 is caulked outward, so that the washer 28 is fixed to the bearing member 36. A lock member 26 is engaged with an engagement part 20 formed at a tip of a connecting shaft 22, so that the eye end 10 is locked.
