PURPOSE: To facilitate a right-angle bending of a refrigerant pipe by a method wherein the refrigerant pipe is formed into a circle so as not to be buckled at each of ridge lines in an upward direction, a downward direction and a lateral direction passing through a spacing within a main body while the refrigerant pipe is being bent and at the same time a circular shape is formed at a spacing near a three-way valve, then a bare pipe of the refrigerant pipe is closely contacted with the circle part and a bending groove is formed.

CONSTITUTION: In the event that a refrigerant pipe 17 is passed from a rear surface of a main body, for example, in respect to a U-shaped spacing 18 into an interior of the main body, the refrigerant pipe 17 is raised from a lower side and bent while being pushed against at a ridge line 23 with a covering 17b and then the pipe is bent without being buckled. Then, the pipe is placed in a spacing 18 and closely contacted in a groove 22 formed in a circular part 21 along a top surface of a cover 16 of a compressor. The refrigerant pipe 17 becomes a bare pipe 17a and this pipe is closely contacted with the groove, so that the pipe is bent while being pushed against the groove 22 without being buckled. The bare pipe 17a is faced against the three-way valve 19 and located in such a way as its central part is linearly confronted with a connecting port 20. With such an arrangement, it becomes easy to make a right-angle bending of the pipe and its machining time can be shortened.
