Abstract:
To provide a connecting device insensitive to a tolerance suitable for use in an automobile.
In this connecting device, two connecting elements 2, 3 to be mutually restrained in the axial direction are provided, both connecting elements are sealed by a seal element 19 deformable in the axial direction, the deformation of the seal element is limited by a mechanical stopper means (support surfaces 21, 24), and a wedge type tightening device is provided for mutually restraining both connecting elements.
