Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a connecting device in which no waste angular moment is generated even when the axial center of a clasp screw exists outside a mounting part and which surely and solidly connects a rack to a top board.
CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a connector main body 3 in which a nearly U-shape curvature part 8 is formed facing from the lower part of a perpendicular mounting part 4 mounted on the rack 2 to the outside, and a screw hole 9 is provided by screwing with the lower horizontal piece 7b of the curvature part 8, the clamp screw 10 screwed with the screw hole 9, and a fixed piece 12 on the terminal part of which an upward abutting part 12c is formed. The fixed piece 12 is arranged in the curvature part 8 so as to make the plane of the abutting part 12c flush with that of the mounting part 4 of the connector main body 3 essentially, and also, the fixed piece 12 is pressure contact with the lower face of the top board 1 of a desk by moving in a perpendicular direction according to the rotation of the clamp screw 10.
