Abstract:

To provide a connecting and disconnecting device improving installation work efficiency of the connecting and disconnecting device.

The connecting and disconnecting device 1 is provided with a housing 3 and a shaft housing 4 (a pair of rotary member), and a casing 2 storing a connecting and disconnecting mechanism 5 connecting and disconnecting a pair of rotary members 3, 4. The connecting and disconnecting mechanism 5 is provided with a cam mechanism 7. The cam mechanism 7 is provided with a fixed member 8 fixed on the casing 2 and a cam member 9 connected to a drive source 6 and arranged on one side of the fixed member 8. The fixed member 8 is engaged with a shock absorbing member 10 absorbing force applied in a rotary direction of the fixed member 8. An attachment opening 11 of the shock absorbing member 10 is provided on an outer part of the casing 2.
